Nov 5 WoW page on Battle.net launcher is blank Since yesterday, the World of Warcraft page on my Blizzard Battle.net launcher has gone blank. I have no options, no ability to select region/account, and no "Play" button. I still have the bar with "Games", "Social", etc. at top, and I can select other games (which all have launcher pages that work fine) but when I select "World of Warcraft" the bulk of the window goes empty, without even a game logo. The standard background for Battle of Azeroth is still present, but much darker than before, as though there's a slightly translucent black overlay on top of it. Quitting and restarting the launcher hasn't fixed the problem, nor has rebooting my computer. I can still launch World of Warcraft manually and I have no current need to adjust options or change my account settings. Also, a game update occurred yesterday evening after this problem started, so I know those are still working. So this isn't an urgent issue, but I'm still concerned. Any tips about how I might fix this? I'll also note that I haven't been seeing any news links on ANY of the individual game pages for several months, and still don't. I can still see news by clicking on the "News" page at the top of the window, so that hasn't been a problem.Ismat6 Nov 5
Systems developers are finding the Apple technologies to be a powerful option for providing network solutions. From a single user, one operating system personal computer, OS X has expanded to serve just about every type of network content available and host multiple operating systems. Powerful system command and scripting languages like Perl and AppleScript allow administrators and users to provide system level solutions in a fraction of the time it would require to develop application level solutions.

Apparently Apple owns this blog page because is certainly doesn't portray the truth about Apple customer service. I bought my first and last apple product a year ago an IPad Air 2. I had a variety of issues with shutting down instantly, the power cord failed after six months, I was told I had to buy a new printer if I wanted to print using the IPad. Customer service was useless each time I called which was many. I believe Apple deletes most negative reviews from the web and portrays a false perception that Ipads are prefect and loved by everyone. Its total crap!!

Apple’s One-Year Limited Warranty for MacBook Air excludes coverage for damage resulting from a number of events, including accident, liquid spill or submersion, unauthorized service and unauthorized modifications. If damage is outside the scope of warranty coverage, service may be available through a local AASP or an Apple retail store, but all service charges will be your responsibility. In such an event, you will be asked to approve the estimated charges and accept the terms and conditions for service before authorizing the repair. If the repair is performed at an Apple retail store Apple's Repair Terms and Conditions will govern service. Repair service for a MacBook Air that has experienced catastrophic damage, for example extensive liquid damage or a severe impact that results in the product being disassembled into multiple pieces, is generally not available and not eligible for service.
Through July 1, 2013, the MacBook Air took in 56 percent of all Ultrabook sales in the United States, despite being one of the higher-priced competitors. [66] Apple had previously dominated the premium PC market, in 2009 having a 91 percent market share for PCs priced at more than $1,000, according to NPD, and Ultrabooks were an attempt by other PC manufacturers to move in on Apple's turf.[67] While Apple's MacBook lines were not immune to this consumer trend towards mobile devices,[68] they still managed to ship 2.8 million MacBooks in Q2 2012 (the majority of which were the MacBook Air) compared to 500,000 total Ultrabooks,[69][70] despite there being dozens of Ultrabooks from various manufacturers on the market while Apple only offered 11" and 13" models of the Macbook Air.[71] Forrester Research analyst Frank Gillett attributes Apple's increased success in the enterprise market to the 2010 MacBook Air and the iPad.[72]

Jan 18 Upcoming API / Hardware Support Changes Hi Friends, We have seen quite a few threads with people upset and confused about the new warnings in the Blizzard app. Warnings that tell you that your system will be unsupported soon. While this is true in some cases, I would like to provide some resources and advice on how to see if you will still be able to play. Here is a list of requirements and resources to help you find out the state of your computer. OS requirements:   Mac - Users computers will need to support the Metal API. A list of Mac computers that can support Metal . Users should also be on a supported macOS. macOS 10.12.X macOS 10.13.x *macOS 10.14.x *(macOS may not be released by the time these changes go live )*   Windows - Users will need to be on the following OS builds, with the 64 bit version installed, and able to support DirectX11. Windows 7 Sp1 Windows 8.1 Windows 10 How to check if you are on a 64 bit OS. 1. Hit Windows key 2. Type “my computer” 3. Right click this PC or the name you gave it 4. Select Properties 5. Look at System type ( You will want 64 bit Operating system listed here ) How to see if your Video card supports DirectX 11. This list is not up to date but if you have a card that is newer than the ones listed, it is likely okay. You can check on the manufacture's website to be sure.   Additional information - We have seen cases where having the in game settings changed to DirectX 9 or WoW set to launch in 32 bit mode will cause these errors. To check if World of Warcraft in 32-bit mode from the Blizzard App 1) Open the Blizzard App 2) Select World of Warcraft 3) Click Options 4) Select Game Settings on the left 5) Uncheck Launch 32-bit client (Instead of 64-bit) 6) Click Done How to disable DirectX 9 if you can. 1) Click Red Question mark in game 2) Go to system 3) Go to Advanced 4) Click Drop down by Graphics API 5) Select DirectX 11 6) Restart the game I hope this information helps my friends and hope you have a wonderful time in World of Warcraft. /NathardrickNathardrick0 Jan 18

Nov 5 Video Freezes When Tabbed Out Yesterday I "upgraded" to Mojave. While I am playing the game, if I tab out for any reason--be it with the 4-finger swipe to another tab, or any of the launch-type buttons--the game video stops working in the background, and the Beach Ball spins. The audio continues to work, and it seems like the game continues to play, as I often tab out between flight paths, and when i reboot the game, I am at the destination flight path. 15" Late-2014 Retina MBP 10.14 Mojave 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB 512GB SSD EDIT: Playing in Windowed Fullscreen Mode.Moleqular24 Nov 5
These bogus Tech Support alerts are shown in such a way as to trick the user into thinking their computer has crashed or that a virus has been detected on the computer. It does this to try and scare the infected user into calling one of the listed numbers in order to receive support. In reality, though, they will only be greeted with people who are trying to sell them unneeded support contracts and services.

“We had talked about this technology in the past but, frankly, we were skeptical of its fit at CSG. Mac-Tech was competent and prompt with response times, qualities that meshed well with our own core business values. The high part accuracies we achieved with the Ermak press brakes also demonstrated to us Ermaksan’s ability to design and construct a precision machine frame with tier one components.”
When released in October 2010, the 13" model's screen resolution was higher than the average 1366x768 screens of similar sized laptops. However, by mid-2013, with many premium Ultrabooks having high resolution screens (1080p or greater) as standard or upgrades, the MacBook Air has been increasingly criticized for sticking with a low-resolution screen. Many in the tech community had expected Apple to release a MacBook Air with Retina Display by mid-2013, similar to the MacBook Pro Retina which came out in 2012.[78] The October 2013 refresh of the 13" MacBook Pro Retina, with a slimmer chassis and a lower price point, was mentioned as a potential MacBook Air alternative as the battery life is not much shorter while not being considerably bulkier.[4][79] Apple released an entry-level version of the 13" MacBook Pro on October 27, 2016, which was specifically targeted towards MacBook Air users.[80]
4d Looking for New Mac I've been using an Early mid-2012 macbook pro and played wow since 2015. Now it's 2018, and this computer is ridiculously old. Contrary to what people say, you can still run between the 1-3 settings, providing you don't mind the occasional crash here or there... but I have no idea how long it will last. I need a new mac. I've been wanting to buy a 2015 model, but they're hard to find now. I'm not pleased on 2016-2018 models with the magsafe removal, keyboard layout (dust is apparently a nightmare to remove from underneath), the forceful use of thunderbolts and a third-party adapter (if I want to use a charger, wireless mouse, and earbuds at once). I know macs aren't the most viable computer to use for gaming, but I've never run into virus problems. It also feels more user-friendly and fluid. If anyone has insight, I'd greatly appreciate it.Ignitheus3 4d
Apple is about to begin charging users outside of their warranty for online chat support using a new web payment system it recently developed. Sources familiar with the project say Apple is currently expecting to launch the new paid chat support, which will also let customers schedule repairs and replacements online, as early as next week. Here’s how it works:
