AppleCare is transferable! If you’re selling an Apple product before the included AppleCare plan expires, the buyer gets the remaining protection. As a former AppeCare representative I can't stress enough how difficult this job really is. We have to deal with angry customers who waited too long on the line, give accurate information about endless features and provide an instant resolution. It is mentally exhausting and would take anyone I know into the paths of a breakdown. Now imagine when new products or software are launched. We are given a set of trainning modules to perform on a given amount of time, as per Apple recommendation. Now, what a lot of people are unaware of, is that only a few call centers are actually managed by Apple directly. Other centers are paid by Apple to train people as per their standards, but in the end of the day this is a business we are talking about, so the larger the amount of calls taken daily equals more monney for these centers. Basically, forget the trainning, we are just pushed by our local managers to do these modules as fast as possible because we are needed to take more calls. Marin Mac Tech used to offer efficient reliable service, but the last few times I've used his service, he has seemed much more interested in padding his bill and selling me unnecessary expensive gear.  This most recent experience was the worst.  Took in my NAS, ran up a large bill running diagnostic tests, told me it was the power supply, I ordered a new power supply, tells me it's still broken and now I should buy a very expensive one from him.  Ridiculous.  Not sure what happened to cause this slide.

However, if by "power of positivity" you mean condescending attitude, providing cookie cutter replies to one's questions for the sole purpose of diverting the issues, and overall being insincere and shifting the responsibility of the problem onto the consumer, well, yes, Apple is at the top of the list. The so called "Genius Bar" is useless and its geniusless techs feign ignorance of problems which are listed in the millions on a basic online search. As others have already pointed out, I have been a faithful Apple customer for many years, but the lack of "customer service" (ie: "resolving problems") leads me to say Apple no more.

Nov 7 PTR Wont launch. So for the last week when ptr was down, I've been able to launch the ptr client and check. But after the recent build update, the game simply won't launch, either through the desktop client or through opening the game itself from the install folders. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and now I don't have the same ability to open through the folders as before, it seems the ptr client just didn't download when I reinstalled? I've scanned for repairs and it says that its fine, the game is up to date, but it just won't open. Any thoughts to what might be doing this?Yuleí1 Nov 7
