The 2010 models include two speakers for stereo sound while earlier versions have one speaker located under the keyboard. The 2012 model replaces USB 2 with USB 3, and uses the MagSafe 2 instead of the MagSafe connector for charging. The 2015 model updated the Thunderbolt port to Thunderbolt 2.

I have to force-quit) Graphics set to minimum, all addons are updated, and im using a 27 inch late 2013 imac dektop with 8 gigs of ram. Anyone else have this problem?Axiss17 Nov 6
Nov 4 Classic demo won't launch (solved) I'm having trouble launching the Blizzcon demo client. I've tried multiple reinstalls of the game and also reinstalling the entire Battle.net client, however it seems to stick on "World of Warcraft is performing initial setup of required game files". Is there something I'm missing? Mojave 10.14.1, iMac 18,3Incaely11 Nov 4
Nov 5 Camera Control with Mac Trackpad On my old MacBook Air that I just retired because it can't do Metal, I could swivel the camera viewpoint around by scrolling three fingers on the trackpad. So I could "fly" around and view my toon from all sides, look up to the sky or behind me. Using 2 fingers controlled zoom (in and out). On my brand new MacBook Pro, the 2-finger thing still works to zoom in and out, but I can't seem to find whatever setting will let me swivel around to take in the whole landscape. Note that if I PRESS with 2 fingers, I can AIM my character. This works somewhat as long as they aren't flying or in motion. On a flight path it doesn't hurt anything. But I can't swing around to see them from the front as they turn to wherever I point. How do I get my 3-finger scroll back so I can view the wide world in 360 degrees?Drozil1 Nov 5

6d USB Wireless Mouse sporadically unresponsive I have a Macbook Pro 15 inch (2007) running OS 10.14 with the following specs: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB ram Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB I have a TrippLite USB hub to connect my peripherals (currently just my Verbatim Wireless Mouse and an External Monitor via VGA) since this macbook only has thunderbolt ports. However, when I am playing WoW my mouse will randomly become unresponsive. It doesn't seem to be anything in particular that causes it and the length of time the mouse is unresponsive varies. I have been trying to see if this issue occurs without running WoW, but I can't replicate it. I'm not sure what the issue could be. At first I chalked it up to a crappy mouse (the scroll wheel doesn't work, and Verbatim doesn't support Mac for their mice.... weirdos) but it doesn't have any issues outside of WoW. Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated - thank you! (I tried to make this post a few minutes ago but it seems to have been deleted, not sure why. sorry for any confusion!)Monkman1 6d
I had occasion to use customer support this week after my family gifted me with an IPad. I had difficulty with accessing after setting it up. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but I found his explanations way too fast and his tone arrogant, despite my telling him I was a senior and needed patience. I sat through a lengthy discourse on the difference between a password and a postcode, and I remained locked out. I think his telling me to hang up, sit back, relax and meditate and the password would come to me was his giving up. I give the service a zero. Once I can figure out how to reset the thing it will be going back.
If you are the one providing the technical assistance, open Messages, select the name of the person you plan to help — or send a new message to start the conversation — and click the Details button in the upper-right corner of the window. Click the Screen Share icon, which looks like two overlapping rectangles, and select “Ask to share screen.” (If you’re the one needing the help, you can also reach out via a Messages buddy and use the “Invite to Share My Screen” option.)
Some users have complained of CPU lockup caused by overheating. Apple released a software update in early March 2008 to fix the problem with mixed results: the deactivation of one CPU core was corrected; however, the runaway kernel problem remained for some users. The problem is aggravated by system-intensive tasks such as video playback or video chatting.
The Microsoft Surface Pro has a similar size and price to the 11" MacBook Air; Apple CEO Tim Cook has criticized the Surface Pro and other Ultrabook hybrids running the touch-based Windows 8, that attempt to combine laptop and tablet functionality in one device, saying that such devices were confusing like trying to "combine a fridge and a toaster".
Starting over again, multiple times, I kept getting the same result, until (without any real indicator of why) everything worked properly. The words "phone number" finally appeared above that field, and the form also automatically formatted my number in the (123) 456-7890 style and allowed me to receive the calls. This error came up during my first two calls, but not my third.
