As a former AppeCare representative I can't stress enough how difficult this job really is. We have to deal with angry customers who waited too long on the line, give accurate information about endless features and provide an instant resolution. It is mentally exhausting and would take anyone I know into the paths of a breakdown. Now imagine when new products or software are launched. We are given a set of trainning modules to perform on a given amount of time, as per Apple recommendation. Now, what a lot of people are unaware of, is that only a few call centers are actually managed by Apple directly. Other centers are paid by Apple to train people as per their standards, but in the end of the day this is a business we are talking about, so the larger the amount of calls taken daily equals more monney for these centers. Basically, forget the trainning, we are just pushed by our local managers to do these modules as fast as possible because we are needed to take more calls. There is never time to breathe or learn anything.
Nov 4 Classic demo won't launch (solved) I'm having trouble launching the Blizzcon demo client. I've tried multiple reinstalls of the game and also reinstalling the entire Battle.net client, however it seems to stick on "World of Warcraft is performing initial setup of required game files". Called them and left a message on a Thursday about a month ago. I also emailed the same day using their website form, indicating the specific issues I was having (model, OS, RAM, etc.). The next day I got a return call from their admin saying only that someone would come to my house and it would cost $140 ($150?) for an hour. Told her I had emailed with the specifics, and I asked to speak with a technical person for a few minutes first, to get their view on my issues, whether they could solve it, and if so, how long it might take. She assured me I would be contacted. I received no reply to my email and no call.

Through July 1, 2013, the MacBook Air took in 56 percent of all Ultrabook sales in the United States, despite being one of the higher-priced competitors.  Apple had previously dominated the premium PC market, in 2009 having a 91 percent market share for PCs priced at more than $1,000, according to NPD, and Ultrabooks were an attempt by other PC manufacturers to move in on Apple's turf. While Apple's MacBook lines were not immune to this consumer trend towards mobile devices, they still managed to ship 2.8 million MacBooks in Q2 2012 (the majority of which were the MacBook Air) compared to 500,000 total Ultrabooks, despite there being dozens of Ultrabooks from various manufacturers on the market while Apple only offered 11" and 13" models of the Macbook Air. Forrester Research analyst Frank Gillett attributes Apple's increased success in the enterprise market to the 2010 MacBook Air and the iPad.
Unfortunately, on my first day of testing, I ran into a bug that nearly prevented me from arranging calls. At first, it just seemed like a mistake; on the page where you enter your name, email address and phone number, the last field didn't have the words "phone number," though all the others were properly labeled. Ignoring this, I filled in my information. But then, I got an error reading, "We're unable to schedule your call. Please try again or choose a different solution."

The 2010 models include two speakers for stereo sound while earlier versions have one speaker located under the keyboard. The 2011 model replaces DisplayPort with a Thunderbolt 1 port, and also has a 1280×720 FaceTime HD Camera, replacing the previous 640×480 iSight camera. The 2012 model replaces USB 2 with USB 3, and uses the MagSafe 2 instead of the MagSafe connector for charging. The 2015 model updated the Thunderbolt port to Thunderbolt 2.
My laptop died awhile back and although I have a Mac desktop and an iPad Mini, the time arrived for me to get a laptop. This time around I chose to get an Apple MacBook to bring all my Apple products together. It's really how they're all connected and share information across devices leaving me not having to send a copy to my email so that I can then open on my iPhone, Apple watch, iPad, or whatever. Now, everything is all connected instantaneously. I'm thrilled I went for the MacBook Air!

Following its introduction, the MacBook Air was greeted with a mixed reception. The portability of the MacBook Air was praised in reviews, but the compromise in features was criticized. The full-sized keyboard, weight, thinness, and Multi-Touch trackpad were appreciated in reviews, while the limited configuration options and ports, slow speed (in non-SSD models), non-user-replaceable battery, small hard drive, and price were criticized. The flip-down hatch on the side of the original MacBook Air is a tight fit for some headphone plugs and USB devices, requiring users to purchase an extension cable. Apple removed the flip-down hatch on the late 2010 model in favor of open connection ports, as is the case with most other laptops.
The only time Apple Support didn't have the answer at the ready was when I called to ask about autoplaying video. The call was set up at 9:28 a.m., and I was on the line immediately with Tonya in Idaho. After we joked over our equally poor weather, she attempted to connect to my system remotely but could not do so (likely because of our office firewall).
