There are no drivers available for these cards on Mac OS, but there are fairly reliable reports of Mac OS functional boot screens. Lends a lot of credence to the reports that nVidia is actually working on drivers for the Mac for the new cards. As one person with a Mac Pro 5,1 commented in the thread, this seems to be the year to write a letter to Santa Claus as apparently it might just work. A few days ago I spoke to an Apple customer service rep about getting an adapter. I first went on line to see which one I needed, wasn't sure so I asked for professional help. After twenty minutes, after being on hold for about fifteen minutes, I spoke to someone who didn't seem to have a clue. She put me on hold and then got back on the line to tell me which adapter would work. I needed an adapter for my older printer, so one end had to fit into the back of my new Mac and the other fit the printer plug. The adapter arrived today and it was too small at the computer end. I called Apple back. To make a long story short, I spoke to five people - all of them useless. I was wondering if I was speaking Klingon because nobody seemed to understand that I needed the adapter to plug into the back of my computer and that the other end did fit my printer. They kept assuming that the printer end was the problem. I was passed on to a supervisor who was just as clueless. I was then passed on to someone who was to source the right sized adapter for me and she was the worst of the lot. I can't understand how a company that makes my computer has no idea which adapter I would need for it and after five people, finally one of them realizes that Apple doesn't make them. I got all my other adapters at The Source and they fit perfectly, unfortunately they no longer carry this product. The worst customer service ever and not once did anyone say to me to return this item because I was recommended the wrong size. Not once did anyone offer a refund. I sent the stupid thing back this evening with a note for them to 'stick it where the sun don't shine.' Go anywhere else if you need help with products for your Mac - Apple customer service reps don't have a clue.
Apparently Apple owns this blog page because is certainly doesn't portray the truth about Apple customer service. I bought my first and last apple product a year ago an IPad Air 2. I had a variety of issues with shutting down instantly, the power cord failed after six months, I was told I had to buy a new printer if I wanted to print using the IPad. Customer service was useless each time I called which was many. I believe Apple deletes most negative reviews from the web and portrays a false perception that Ipads are prefect and loved by everyone. Its total crap!!

While this is true in some cases, I would like to provide some resources and advice on how to see if you will still be able to play. Here is a list of requirements and resources to help you find out the state of your computer. OS requirements: Mac - Users computers will need to support the Metal API. A list of Mac computers that can support Metal . Users should also be on a supported macOS. macOS 10.12.X macOS 10.13.x *macOS 10.14.x *(macOS may not be released by the time these changes go live )* Windows - Users will need to be on the following OS builds, with the 64 bit version installed, and able to support DirectX11. Windows 7 Sp1 Windows 8.1 Windows 10 How to check if you are on a 64 bit OS. 1. Hit Windows key 2. Type “my computer” 3. Right click this PC or the name you gave it 4. Select Properties 5. Look at System type ( You will want 64 bit Operating system listed here ) How to see if your Video card supports DirectX 11. This list is not up to date but if you have a card that is newer than the ones listed, it is likely okay. You can check on the manufacture's website to be sure. Additional information - We have seen cases where having the in game settings changed to DirectX 9 or WoW set to launch in 32 bit mode will cause these errors. Nov 2 macOS update message when launching WoW Is there a way to suppress the warning regarding current OS version when launching Warcraft? I'm currently on 10.13.6 and recently I started getting the message that there is an available update to my OS which will increase stability and whatever. I'm not unfamiliar to the message, I have seen it before with other updates to 10.13. I'm planning the update to Mojave at some point, but would like to stop this annoying message, it prevents auto-switching to WoW as it launches.Durr4 Nov 2

Nov 1 Wow Freezing Hello everyone, I was just in a battleground and as soon as I got into a fight WoW freezed and I had to force quit it. When I joined back in, the game freezed again as soon as I got into a fight. This happened for other 2 times more. Nov 11 Screen sleep -> WoW dies I've noticed that when I go AFK long enough that the screen is put to sleep, upon waking up, WoW is unresponsive. It's not even possible to alt-tab out or force quit it. I have to try to keyboard restart the Mac and wait for WoW to fail to force quit. This never happened with true fullscreen, because that mode prevented the screen from sleeping.Azreluna4 Nov 11
