Happens on multiple computers. But you can disable that option if you want. If I want a search I will type into the search bar and the only other time I want a search is as a last resort. Now here is where most people don’t care. More about the author
Hate to tell you but if you are passing through their router - they can over ride your dns settings as their router does first resolve. Like I said- it's super intermittment (it's never lasted longer than 5 minutes) but still really annoying and somewhat worrying. The Internet is designed to return a page not found code (i.e. 404). There are alternative DNS services including opendns and Google DNS. You're done.
