We don't know why the support.apple.com site glitched out on multiple occasions, but we were happy to see the issue disappear by our third call. If Apple wants an even better score next year, we'd suggest its agents find footing on Facebook, and make sure its employees know all the ins and outs of its latest features so that callers aren't put on hold while techs investigate.
You also get up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage for a relatively low service fee. If you’ve only damaged the screen, a screen replacement is only $29. But if the iPhone has other damage, the fee is $99. iPhones are eligible for the Express Replacement Service, letting you request a replacement device in the mail before you send your original damaged device in for repair.
Apparently Apple owns this blog page because is certainly doesn't portray the truth about Apple customer service. I bought my first and last apple product a year ago an IPad Air 2. I had a variety of issues with shutting down instantly, the power cord failed after six months, I was told I had to buy a new printer if I wanted to print using the IPad. Customer service was useless each time I called which was many. I believe Apple deletes most negative reviews from the web and portrays a false perception that Ipads are prefect and loved by everyone. Its total crap!!

If you own an MacBook Air, and it requires service for any other issue, you still have access to all available service options, but you will be responsible for the cost of service, including parts, labor, shipping (if any), and applicable taxes. AppleCare or your local AASP or Apple retail store representative will provide you with an estimate of service costs before receiving your authorization to perform service.
Nov 2 New MacBook Pros Announced at October Even Will be upgradeable to Vega 16 and 20 GPUs https://www.google.com/amp/s/arstechnica.com/gadgets/2018/10/apple-to-offer-macbook-pros-with-amd-vega-graphics-starting-in-november/%3famp=1 Was wondering how that would translate to playing WOW - how much would one be able to push the graphics at native resolution with those cards and get smooth FPS? Thanks!Dileo8 Nov 2
The person on the other end of the sharing request needs to accept your offer. A box pops up to ask that person to let you observe or take command of the screen. Once the person chooses “Control my screen” and clicks Accept, you should be able to take over that Mac with your own cursor and keyboard to provide remote technical support; the app also opens up an audio call between you and the other person so you can talk while you help. When you are finished, the recipient can close the session.
Apple incorporated several features in the design of the MacBook Air, such as the reduction of lead to make it more environmentally friendly. The MacBook Air contains no BFRs and PVC wiring, meets Energy Star 5.0 requirements, has a recyclable enclosure, and is rated EPEAT Gold. Its display is made from arsenic-free glass, and contains no mercury. To reduce the computer's size and weight, several features were sacrificed. It was Apple's first notebook since the PowerBook 2400c without a built-in removable media drive. It also omits a FireWire port, Ethernet port, line-in, media card slots (except the 13" 2010 through 2015 models, which have an SD card slot), and a Kensington Security Slot.
AppleCare is transferable! If you’re selling an Apple product before the included AppleCare plan expires, the buyer gets the remaining protection. If you buy an extended AppleCare+ plan and then sell the product, the remaining time left in the AppleCare+ goes along with it. So AppleCare+ can be a selling point when you’re unloading your used devices on the secondary market!
Marin Mac Tech used to offer efficient reliable service, but the last few times I've used his service, he has seemed much more interested in padding his bill and selling me unnecessary expensive gear. This most recent experience was the worst. Took in my NAS, ran up a large bill running diagnostic tests, told me it was the power supply, I ordered a new power supply, tells me it's still broken and now I should buy a very expensive one from him. Ridiculous. Not sure what happened to cause this slide.
Nov 5 WoW page on Battle.net launcher is blank Since yesterday, the World of Warcraft page on my Blizzard Battle.net launcher has gone blank. I have no options, no ability to select region/account, and no "Play" button. I still have the bar with "Games", "Social", etc. at top, and I can select other games (which all have launcher pages that work fine) but when I select "World of Warcraft" the bulk of the window goes empty, without even a game logo. The standard background for Battle of Azeroth is still present, but much darker than before, as though there's a slightly translucent black overlay on top of it. Quitting and restarting the launcher hasn't fixed the problem, nor has rebooting my computer. I can still launch World of Warcraft manually and I have no current need to adjust options or change my account settings. Also, a game update occurred yesterday evening after this problem started, so I know those are still working. So this isn't an urgent issue, but I'm still concerned. Any tips about how I might fix this? I'll also note that I haven't been seeing any news links on ANY of the individual game pages for several months, and still don't. I can still see news by clicking on the "News" page at the top of the window, so that hasn't been a problem.Ismat6 Nov 5
In the current product line, the MacBook Air sits below the performance-range of the MacBook Pro and compared to the MacBook Retina. However, its features reflect different priorities. The Air was originally released as a premium ultraportable positioned above the previous MacBook. Since then, the Air has become Apple's entry-level laptop due to the MacBook's discontinuation in 2011, as well as lowered prices on subsequent iterations.
Nov 11 10-18 FPS When Fighting Raid Boss Can someone explain to me why am I able to get around 60 fps steadily out in the open world and dungeons, but in Uldir on boss fights my fps drastically drops down to 10-18 fps? BTW I'm playing on the lowest graphic settings in the system menu for Raids. If I'm able to play modern games on my bootcamp partition on Ultra settings and get a steady 60 fps if not more, then darn I should be able to play a game that's over 10 years old, or at least you would think. Oct 30 Discreet or Integrated GPU I have a late 2012 iMac with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB. WoW has worked great on this machine since I bought it in 2013 for $1030 with no tax (on a military post). Since BfA install/launch, it has slowed down considerably, and not just with the game. It has slowed down period. I thought about adding more RAM (I have 8GB), hearing that iMacs with integrated graphics share memory with the graphics. I looked into it and couldn't figure out how to tell if it had integrated graphics... the instructions I found specified to "look at the About This Mac settings." Well, all I see is the NVIDIA, but nothing indicating discreet or integrated... so after searching deeper, it "appears" that this is not integrated. Is this a proper assumption? Anyway, I really don't want to buy a new machine, but I may have to. I did find this on Craigslist, but I'm not sure if I want to bite. https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/sys/d/apple-mac-pro-late-2013/6732953504.htmlRitchie4 Oct 30
Nov 5 Video Freezes When Tabbed Out Yesterday I "upgraded" to Mojave. While I am playing the game, if I tab out for any reason--be it with the 4-finger swipe to another tab, or any of the launch-type buttons--the game video stops working in the background, and the Beach Ball spins. The audio continues to work, and it seems like the game continues to play, as I often tab out between flight paths, and when i reboot the game, I am at the destination flight path. 15" Late-2014 Retina MBP 10.14 Mojave 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB 512GB SSD EDIT: Playing in Windowed Fullscreen Mode.Moleqular24 Nov 5
My answer for reversing Safari's new rule for blocking autoplaying came to me in a slightly roundabout way. After searching for "videos in safari aren't autoplaying," I only got results about disabling videos from autoplaying. But clicking on the "Stop autoplay videos" result brought me to a page where I saw a link that said "Customize browsing settings per website," which revealed how to change the autoplay settings for specific websites.
