For others, Apple will charge what it refers to as a “pay per incident” fee or require the purchase of an extended warranty through AppleCare. Previously all online support chat features were available for free to users worldwide. Some users might have noticed back in August when Apple revamped its support sites that it started listing a $19.99 per incident fee for chat support. However, up until now AppleCare hasn’t actually been charging users to access the feature.
My macbook pro took a little tumble. The screen is not cracked, nor are there vertical lines, blobs, or anything like that. There was a bright blue line just at the bottom of the screen, but it flickered back into place. However, there are veeeeery very light horizontal lines that run through the entire screen now. It's truely hardly noticable unless you're up close to the computer. Honestly, I could live with it, but my screen was so clear before, I'd love to get it back to that quality. I know it's very expensive to replace the screen, but maybe there is something else that can be done or another service I can request before I have to drop that kind of cash? Help?

As others have already pointed out, I have been a faithful Apple customer for many years, but the lack of "customer service" (ie: "resolving problems") leads me to say Apple no more.

On Tuesday 9 th January was on hold for almost 30 minutes finally got a representative from tech support named Chanelle, 2 mins into the conversation and of telling her the situation it seemed that she did not have the patience to help didn’t say anything and just hung up, gave her the benefit of the doubt just maybe it was a drop call but she never called back. Still on the phone again waiting for over another 30 Mins on for another representative. AppleCare is transferable! If you’re selling an Apple product before the included AppleCare plan expires, the buyer gets the remaining protection. If you buy an extended AppleCare+ plan and then sell the product, the remaining time left in the AppleCare+ goes along with it. Called them and left a message on a Thursday about a month ago.  I also emailed the same day using their website form, indicating the specific issues I was having (model, OS, RAM, etc.).  The next day I got a return call from their admin saying only that someone would come to my house and it would cost $140 ($150?) for an hour.  Told her I had emailed with the specifics, and I asked to speak with a technical person for a few minutes first, to get their view on my issues, whether they could solve it, and if so, how long it might take.  She assured me I would be contacted.  I received no reply to my email and no call.

Nov 5 Video Freezes When Tabbed Out Yesterday I "upgraded" to Mojave. While I am playing the game, if I tab out for any reason--be it with the 4-finger swipe to another tab, or any of the launch-type buttons--the game video stops working in the background, and the Beach Ball spins.
