NOW, though the product title DOES say that it comes preinstalled with EL CAPTAIN (or whatever), mine already came with the SIERRA update. It had Sierra Version 10.12.3 and in the app store, you can update it (FOR FREE) with the May 2017 recent Sierra 10.12.5 update! IF yours comes in with EL CAPTAIN, you can update it FOR FREE to the 2017 Sierra update - do not worry! Lol.
Nov 5 Razer Naga wheel-tilt not recognized properly Hi, all. Short version: My Razer Naga 2014 has a wheel-tilt feature that was previously recognized by WoW independent of the scroll and click functions, but WoW now sees the right tilt as scroll up and the left tilt as scroll down and no tweaks I done in-game or in Synapse have corrected the issue. Extra details: I'm running a late '09 iMac with OS 10.9.7. Had the mouse ~3 weeks now, and it also had the issue where modifier keys wouldn't work in conjunction with the mouse buttons in WoW. I also have Synapse downloaded, as mentioned, but have avoided using it as I rather dislike the program. If any other info's necessary, let me know! I posted here as I wasn't sure that it belonged anywhere else, and a half-hour of searching failed to turn up anything useful, forums or otherwise. Thanks in advance.Rhakkash13 Nov 5

Nov 7 PTR Wont launch. So for the last week when ptr was down, I've been able to launch the ptr client and check. But after the recent build update, the game simply won't launch, either through the desktop client or through opening the game itself from the install folders. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and now I don't have the same ability to open through the folders as before, it seems the ptr client just didn't download when I reinstalled? I've scanned for repairs and it says that its fine, the game is up to date, but it just won't open. Any thoughts to what might be doing this?Yuleí1 Nov 7
Nov 3 Frequent Disconnects Hello I'm a mac player and I'm experiencing frequent disconnections (4-10 times an hour) and I don't know why. My PS4 and everything else I've tried on this mac so far have been working fine without any disconnection issue and I'm using a wired connection so I think it's safe to assume that its not a problem with my internet service provider. I have tried troubleshooting steps listed on various other past posts here so I'll detail what I've done here: - Reset UI - Tried turning off something in system settings (can't remember what but it was on a page with three other things and it said turning it off may help with disconnection issues.) - Tried logging out and back into blizzard client. - Tried logging closing then reopening wow - Tried turning computer on and off again. If I could get a fix as soon as possible that'd be great! I'm looking to get into mythic plus and maybe some RBG's so this is obviously a problem with it happening so frequently. If it helps the issue seems to happen much more frequently when I'm in an instance. I've been dc'd only a handful of times while questing while I'd say a majority of instances I join I'm disconnected from at least once. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!Esos5 Nov 3

5d 10.14.1 & Spaces & WoW I mentioned in pervious post how 10.14 had major issues with WoW when playing in Fullscreen (Windowed) mode with spaces where if you didnt fully go into a space you were swapping to and back to WoW the game would go into a forever suspended state (spinning beach ball). This could be "fixed" by going fully into the space you were swapping to and going back to WoW which would cause it to resume. 10.14.1 makes this completely worse. Now if you swap to a new space from WoW partially or completely the game will suspend and not come out of it. Avoid this upgrade if you need to use spaces while playing WoW. (again this happens in Fullscreen (Windowed Mode)....it is not occuring in window mode) I dont know if this is a blizzard issue or apple issue but Ive mentioned this a few times now previously and lack of response here from blizzard seems to indicate they dont seem to see this as any of their concern so we are probably stuck with this for a long while. EDIT - After some playing around Ive managed to narrow this issue even further. It seems related somehow to the method of swapping spaces. If I have enabled in my mouse preferences under "More Gestures" to "Swipe between full-screen apps - Swipe left or right with two fingers" and use that method to swap from WoW to new spaces I experience the hang ups. If I disable that and use only the option below that which says: "Mission Cotrol - Double tap with two fingers" to bring up spaces I am not getting the suspended WoW behavior as with the other.Bermy25 5d

Marin Mac Tech used to offer efficient reliable service, but the last few times I've used his service, he has seemed much more interested in padding his bill and selling me unnecessary expensive gear.  This most recent experience was the worst.  Took in my NAS, ran up a large bill running diagnostic tests, told me it was the power supply, I ordered a new power supply, tells me it's still broken and now I should buy a very expensive one from him.  Ridiculous.  Not sure what happened to cause this slide.

Nov 5 Camera Control with Mac Trackpad On my old MacBook Air that I just retired because it can't do Metal, I could swivel the camera viewpoint around by scrolling three fingers on the trackpad. So I could "fly" around and view my toon from all sides, look up to the sky or behind me. Using 2 fingers controlled zoom (in and out). On my brand new MacBook Pro, the 2-finger thing still works to zoom in and out, but I can't seem to find whatever setting will let me swivel around to take in the whole landscape. Note that if I PRESS with 2 fingers, I can AIM my character. This works somewhat as long as they aren't flying or in motion. On a flight path it doesn't hurt anything. But I can't swing around to see them from the front as they turn to wherever I point. How do I get my 3-finger scroll back so I can view the wide world in 360 degrees?Drozil1 Nov 5
